Krinau (Salzwedel)

Until March 14, 1974, Krinau was a municipality in the Salzwedel district in the Magdeburg district , German Democratic Republic .

history

On July 1, 1950, the communities of Kricheldorf and Sienau in the Salzwedel district were merged to form a community called Krinau . On July 25, 1952, Krinau was reclassified to the Salzwedel district. On March 15, 1974, the municipality of Krinau was incorporated into the city of Salzwedel. Krinau was thus dissolved, Kricheldorf and Sienau came as districts to Salzwedel.
