Kris De Bruyne (born March 20, 1950 in Antwerp ) is a Belgian singer.

De Bruyne sings in Dutch because he comes from Flanders . His career began in 1973, when he formed his first band. In 2004 he toured without a band. A cheese company played his song Amsterdam in an advertisement that same year. He is also very famous in the Netherlands . De Bruyne is the son of the historian Arthur van Bruyne .
