Krista Katariina Tervo (born November 15, 1997 in Kotka ) is a Finnish hammer thrower and has been the record holder of her country since 2019.

Athletic career

Krista Tervo gained her first international experience in 2015 when she finished eleventh at the Junior European Championships in Eskilstuna with a width of 58.28 m. The following year she was fourth at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 62.25 m and in 2017 she finished ninth there with 63.97 m at the U23 European Championships . In 2018 she qualified for the first time for the European Championships in Berlin , where she did not reach the final with 65.37 m. The following year she was at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 63.82 m sixth and also took part in the World Championships in Doha , where she was eliminated with 68.25 m in qualification .

In 2017 and 2019 Tervo became the Finnish hammer throw champion.
