Kristin Baker

Kristin Baker (* 1975 in Stamford (Connecticut) ) is an American painter.

The daughter of a racing driver is best known for a series of large-format pictures with abstract or highly abstract motifs in acrylic.

1998 BFA at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in Boston, MA. 2002 MFA Painting at Yale University in New Haven, CT.

Her work has been shown in many well-known international galleries and museums, including: Whitney Museum of American Art , PS1 Contemporary Art Center in New York, the Pompidou Center in Paris, and The Royal Academy in London.

She lives and works in New York City.
