Kristina Schmidt (lawyer)

Kristina Schmidt (born August 26, 1968 in Oschatz ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Labor Court .

Life

After graduating from high school, Kristina Schmidt first worked as a saleswoman and later as a typist at what was then the district court of Oschatz . On the night school she graduated with a shop assistant before at the Humboldt University at Berlin law studies and in 1993 passed his first state examination. In 1996 she passed the second state examination in law . She then worked as a research assistant at the Martin Luther University Halle / Wittenberg before joining the labor courts of the state of Brandenburg in the same year . There she initially worked at the labor court in Frankfurt / Oder. From 2001 to 2003 she was seconded to the Federal Labor Court as a research assistant , and from 2004 to 2005 as a research assistant to the Constitutional Court of Brandenburg . In 2005 Kristina Schmidt was appointed judge at the labor court as permanent representative of a director. In 2006 she worked as presiding judge at the Berlin-Brandenburg State Labor Court before she was appointed judge at the Federal Labor Court in July 2009.

Kristina Schmidt was also a judge at the constitutional court of Brandenburg from 2009 to 2019 .
