Kristján frá Djúpalæk

Kristján Einarsson frá Djúpalæk (born July 16, 1916 in Djúpalæk , Skeggjastaðahreppur , Norður-Múlasýsla ; † April 15, 1994 in Akureyri ) was an Icelandic writer .

Life

Kristján's parents were the farmer Einar Eiriksson and his wife Gunnþórunn Jónasdóttir . He himself was a farmer, teacher and journalist as well as editor of the magazine Verkamaðurinn . Kristján published several volumes of poetry and also wrote lyrics.
