Kristoffer Näfver (born March 28, 1986 ) is a Swedish football player . The midfielder briefly played for the Swedish U-21 team .

Career

Näfver began playing football at Adolfsbergs IK . In 2003 the midfielder moved to the youth department of Örebro SK . In 2004 he moved up to the professional squad, but was not used in the Allsvenskan . The following year he made his debut for the club, which has now been relegated from the Swedish elite series, in the Superettan . In the 2006 season he was able to play in the regular team, although he only completed four of his 27 season appearances over the entire game. At the end of the season, the return to the Allsvenskan could be celebrated. In the subsequent first division season he was still part of the starting eleven and played his way into the circle of the Swedish U-21 selection . There he made his debut on March 27, 2007 in the Swedish U21 team when they lost 2-1 to the Maltese junior national team. He scored the Swedish goal.

In the summer of 2007, Näfver injured his cruciate ligament. After he had missed the games in autumn 2007 because of his cruciate ligament injury, he returned to the U-21 team in February 2008 and was substituted on for Emir Bajrami in the 1-0 win over the Ukrainian junior team in the 71st minute of the game .

After Näfver returned to the regular team at Örebro SK, he made himself interesting to the competition. In the summer of 2008 he moved on loan within the Allsvenskan to the Stockholm club Djurgårdens IF . Since he only played five games - four times as a substitute - in the rest of the season, the club decided not to redeem the purchase option.

Initially, Örebro SK wanted to part with Näfver, but he stayed with the club. As a supplementary player, he played two league games until the summer. In July 2009 he signed a contract with the second division Assyriska Föreningen that was valid until the end of the season . With the club he finished third at the end of the second division season in 2009 and only missed promotion to the Allsvenskan in the relegation against his former club Djurgårdens IF.
