The Krokryggen ( Norwegian for crooked back ) is a 12 km long and curved mountain ridge in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In Sør Rondane it rises in the Mefjell massif .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it descriptively in 1988.
