The Kronsee is a lake in Holstein Switzerland . It lies in the course of the Schwentine downstream between the Kleiner Plöner See and the Fuhlensee south of the Wahlstorf estate .
It is 23 hectares in size, up to 8 m deep and about 20 m above sea level. NN . The water balance is dominated by the high flow of the Schwentine. The turnover in the lake is so high that there is no stratification in summer and the water close to the ground also has high oxygen concentrations.
