The Kronstadt Glacier ( Russian Ледник Кронштадтский Lednik Kronschtadtski , English Kronshtadtskiy Glacier ) is a glacier in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It flows in a west-northwest direction and flows 8 km southeast of the Pickering Nunatak into the Lambert Glacier .
Soviet scientists named it in 1987 after Kronstadt , a town and former fortress on the Baltic island of Kotlin off Saint Petersburg in Russia .
