The Ranown Pictures Corp. was an American film production company .

When Columbia approved a new rental agreement, actor Randolph Scott continued his previous collaboration with producer Harry Joe Brown . As with the last three productions of the Producers-Actors , Budd Boetticher was given the direction, who could again count on the collaboration of the screenwriter Burt Kennedy . The westerns On Your Own Faust (1959) and One Doesn't Give Up (1960) were made, both of which were filmed in CinemaScope .

Between 1959 and 1960, both films were shown in German cinemas.
