Kuanda is an Angolan island in the confluence of the Congo . The city of Soyo is partly on the island.

The most important industry on Kuanda is the crude oil and natural gas industry . The company Texaco , Petr Omar , Fina , BP , Sonangol , Halliburton and Bechtel maintain facilities on the island.
