In the Kuhlenberg mine in Müsen (zu Hilchenbach ) in northern Siegerland , spate iron stone , zinc blende , galena and pale ore were mined. She was the operations department of the Wilder Mann mine .

history

In 1529, pings and pits were first mentioned in the vicinity of the mine. Two upper tunnels were built before 1750 . The location of another tunnel was unknown even in 1829. A middle gallery was built before 1789. In the years 1835/40, Flügelort was created in the Tiefen Sonnenberg gallery , which connected the pits. On April 6, 1841, the mining rights were re-awarded.

In 1780, 100 wagons Stahlstein were promoted. Passage means was the Kuhle Berger Gang , who was meters thick from 0.5 to 1.25 and a length of about 100 m had. Its filling consisted of spade iron stone with zinc cover, lead luster and at the southern end also brown iron stone, pale and copper ores. Around 1885 the operation was shut down, in that year the mine house was demolished.
