Upper Örtzetal cultural area
The Upper Örtzetal cultural area lies in the city triangle of Bremen , Hamburg and Hanover .
Cooperating communities
The cultural area includes the communities of Hermannsburg , Faßberg and the city of Bergen (district of Celle) from the district of Celle as well as the community of Wietzendorf and the districts of Oerrel and Trauen from the city of Munster (Örtze) from the district of Heidekreis .
Projects
Overarching and connecting key topics are the topics of tourism and culture. Since the start of the development cooperation, municipalities and other project participants have implemented over 50 projects:
- Cycle path network: expansion, closing gaps and bridges as well as cycle path signage, annual cycle tours
- Themed routes: "Landpartie", "In Postmaster Stechinelli's footsteps", "Water art"
- 'Searching for traces': recording and signposting of cultural landscape elements
- Control of neophytes (e.g. giant hogweed ) and publication of an information brochure
- Site planning concept and primer "Regional Building Culture"
- Forest work - Museum "Becklinger Holz" and teaching bike tours "Ährengold, Grasgrün, schwarzbunt"
- Joint event calendar on the Internet with the possibility of direct input of events for all citizens and activation by the respective municipality
