The Kulun ( Kyrgyz Кулун ) is a mountain lake in the foothills south of the Ferghanagebirges in Rajon Karakuldscha the region of Osh in Kyrgyzstan .
The Kulun is dammed by a natural rock dam. The lake is at an altitude of 2856 m . It extends over a length of 4.6 km in an east-west direction. The water area is 3.25 km². The maximum depth is 91 m. The Kulun , a tributary of the Qoradaryo source river Tar , drains the lake to the west.
