The Customer Service Association Germany e. V. (KVD) is a professional association for employees in customer service and service in various industries such as B. ITK , mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology , consumer goods & household appliances, multimedia , automobiles , renewable energies and science . It has 1,600 members; The range of members includes small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as large international corporations.
Every year in November, the association organizes the KVD Service Congress, as well as regular specialist conferences, exclusive company tours and regional service get-togethers. He has also been publishing the specialist magazine SERVICETODAY since the 1980s, which appears 5 times a year. The magazine is IVW- tested and has a circulation of 3,500 copies. The editor-in-chief of the magazine is Markus Schröder. The KVD collects together with the FIR e. V. at RWTH Aachen University, the KVD service study is central success factors.
The KVD was founded in 1982 and is based in Dorsten ( Recklinghausen district ). Markus Schröder is the managing director . The association is led by a five-member board:

The board of directors is supported by a twelve-member advisory board. The chairman of the advisory board is Wolfgang Theisen (Toshiba Tec Germany Imaging Systems GmbH, Neuss, Director Technical Services).
