Kundt is a small, bowl-shaped impact crater on the front of the moon to the north of Mare Nubium , east of Guericke crater and west of Davy .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the German physicist August Kundt . Previously, the crater was as Guericke C respectively.
