Kunigiškiai is a village with 57 inhabitants (as of 2011) in Lithuania . It is located in the district of Upninkai , in the east of jonava district municipality ( Kaunas district ), 22 kilometers from the central city of Jonava , 1 km from Upninkai , 7 km from Vepriai , 9 km from Gelvonai , 12 km from Rukla and 22 km from the center city Ukmergė away . It belongs to the Kunigiškių- Pakalniškių sub-district ( Kunigiškių-Pakalniškių seniūnaitija ) with 148 inhabitants. In 2001 there were 89 people living in the village. The zip code is LT-55491. In the village there is a cemetery of the Baltromiškė Old Believers community, built in the second half of the 19th century.
