Kunigunde Bachl
Kunigunde Bachl , b. Triptow, (born July 29, 1919 in Kiel ; † October 16, 1994 ) was a German CDU politician .
Life and work
After graduating from high school in 1938, Bachl, who was Protestant , first studied sports and worked as a sports teacher in the school service. From 1941 to 1947 she also studied medicine. From 1948 she worked as an assistant doctor before setting up her own general practice in 1964. Since 1973 she has been the state chairwoman of the German Association of Women Doctors in Schleswig-Holstein and since 1980 a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Physicians. Kunigunde Bachl was married and had three children.
Political party
Bachl joined the CDU in 1969 in protest against the social-liberal government at the federal level. Since 1973 she was a member of the CDU state executive in Schleswig-Holstein. From 1981 she was in charge of the CDU's state committee for health policy .
MPs
Bachl was a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein from 1971 to 1975 and from January 19, 1978, when she replaced Heinz Bartheidel , until 1987 . The state parliament elected her as a member of the sixth federal assembly , which on May 15, 1974 elected Walter Scheel as federal president .
Honors
Kunigunde Bachl was awarded the Cross of Merit on Ribbon on April 14, 1975 and the Cross of Merit 1st Class on August 9, 1983.
