Kuno Rechkemmer

Kuno Rechkemmer (born November 12, 1951 in Heilbronn ) is a German industrial engineer.

Life

After graduating with a degree in industrial engineering and completing his doctorate at the University of Karlsruhe , he initially worked for Lawrence Klein at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania . He was interested in early qualitative indicators, such as expectations and assessments, and their importance for econometric explanatory and forecasting models. Essential analysis and control concepts of the concept of internal quality and its management - Management of Internal Quality (MIQ) - have their roots here.

In 1983 he moved to Daimler-Benz AG , Stuttgart. There he was director of the Mergers & Acquisitions division. He carried out research projects in the field of corporate governance at the University of Tübingen , Franz Xaver Bea , the University of St. Gallen , Emil Brauchlin , and the MIT Sloan School of Management , John F. Rockart .

From 2000 to 2005 he was university professor for general business administration at the European University Viadrina . At the same time he worked at the Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology as well as in various consulting functions.

In 2005 he founded the CGIFOS Institute together with Uwe Eppinger, Roderich Fischer and Patricia Rechkemmer.

Kuno Rechkemmer is a previous scholarship holder of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the German Academic Exchange Service .
