Plastic Campus Bavaria

The Kunststoffcampus Bayern - Technologie- und Studienzentrum Weißenburg is a joint research and educational institution of the Ansbach University of Applied Sciences and the Deggendorf University of Technology with its headquarters at Richard-Stücklen-Straße 3 in Weißenburg in Bavaria , a major district town in the Weissenburg district in Central Franconia. Gunzenhausen . Conductor is Christian Wilisch .

The aim of the facility is research in the field of plastics technology , since the plastics processing industry is the main branch of the Altmühlfranken region. The campus was built in 2013 jointly by the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district and the city of Weißenburg. The opening was on March 27, 2015. The campus is the second higher education institution in the district to date, alongside the University of Applied Management in Treuchtlingen .
