Its content includes all areas of plastics technology (production, testing, processing, application, machine and tool construction) as well as current industry and economic information. The magazine is published monthly by Carl Hanser Verlag , Munich. Kunststoffe is an organ of German plastics trade associations. Hanser also publishes an English-language edition under the title Kunststoffe international .
Founded in 1911 by Ernst Richard Escales , the magazine Kunststoffe which he created gave this class of materials its name in German-speaking countries over the years. In most other languages, plastics are known as plastics (English), plastiques (fr.) Or plásticos (span.) Due to their plastic properties .
