The Kurasawa Pond is a meltwater pond in Wright Valley of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the labyrinth, it is located south of Dean Cirque and 800 m east of the foothills of the Upper Wright Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2004 after the Japanese geologist Hajime Kurasawa, who was involved in the drilling project in the Antarctic dry valleys from 1974 and 1975 .
