The Dean Cirque is a mountain basin in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range, it lies between the southeast section of the Prentice Plateau and Apollo Peak . To the south it opens to the labyrinth .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2004 after Christopher T. Dean, a helicopter pilot in eight consecutive campaigns of the United States Antarctic Program between 1996 and 1997.
