The Apollo Peak is one with dolerite over-coated mountain peaks of 1,900 m altitude, the west of Mount Electra in the Olympus Range in the East Antarctic Victoria Land rises.
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1984 after Apollo , god from Greek mythology .
