Mount Electra is a 2000 m high and distinctive mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises immediately west of Mount Dido in the Olympus Range .
Participants in a campaign from 1958 to 1959 as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him after Elektra , daughter of Agamemnon from Greek mythology .
