Mount Dido is a 2070 m high and striking mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range it rises between Mount Electra and Mount Boreas .
Participants in a 1958-1959 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him after Dido , the founder and first Queen of Carthage from Greek mythology .
