Mount Boreas is a prominent mountain of 2180 m height, which rises between Mount Aeolus and Mount Dido in the Olympus Range in East Antarctic Victoria Land.
Participants in a 1958 to 1959 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him after Boreas , the personification of the wintry north wind from Greek mythology .
