The Prentice Plateau is a 1850 m high and 15 km² large plateau in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range it lies west of Apollo Peak on the north side of the Upper Victoria Glacier . Apart from a few bare rocky outcrops, it is covered with ice.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the plateau in 2004 after Michael L. Prentice of the University of New Hampshire , who from 1983 worked for the United States Antarctic Program for a period of 15 years , including in the Antarctic dry valleys .
