Kurt Bachor

Kurt Bachor (born May 20, 1916 in East Prussia ; † July 1, 1990 in Paulinzella in Thuringia ) was a book author .

Life

After the end of the Second World War , Kurt Bachor came as a resettler from eastern Germany to the forest and monastery ruin village in Paulinzella. Here he quickly gained a foothold as a forester and writer. Soon he was able to combine work and hobby and wrote books about the place, forest and meadows as well as about wild animals.

Patroness of the home association Paulinzella

The patroness of the Heimatverein Paulinzella was his now deceased wife. The association revived the tradition of the marriage market held on Ascension Day in 1995. Paulinzella again became a place of pilgrimage for a great many people.
