Kurt Freundlinger
Kurt Freundlinger (* 1930 in Steyr ) is an Austrian artist .
Life
Freundlinger attended the Graphic Training and Research Institute in Vienna from 1946 to 1950, department of commercial graphics. In 1971 he opened his first major exhibition at Schönbrunn Palace , followed by 120 other solo exhibitions and numerous exhibitions. On February 24th, 1988 several artists gathered, formed the artist group art / diagonal and elected Kurt Freundlinger as their president. In 1995 he became a member and representative of Austria in the artist group Europa 24 .
His fame in Eastern Austria led to an invitation to Radio Wienerwald in 2009, where he told the presenter Gerhard Blaboll in detail about his life.
