Kurt Knoll

Kurt Knoll (born July 16, 1958 in Ingweiler ) is a former German soccer player and current coach .

Career

The midfielder began his career at SpVgg Einöd-Ingweiler and in 1978 moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for FC 08 Homburg . Three years later he joined 1. FC Saarbrücken . Although he made it to the Bundesliga with the Saarbrücken team, he returned to the Homburg team in 1985 and was promoted to the first division there again. The 1986/87 season he played in the 1st Bundesliga. From 1987 he was back under contract with 1. FC Saarbrücken, where he played until 1990.

In total, Knoll made 30 appearances in the Bundesliga and 241 games in the 2nd division .

From the 2010/2011 season Knoll was coach of Borussia Neunkirchen in the Oberliga Südwest . He was released in January 2011.
