Kurt Kräft (born April 16, 1907 in Magdeburg ; † unknown) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending the public schools in Magdeburg and Helmstedt from 1913 to 1921, Kurt Kräft worked as a mining intern from 1921 to 1924. From 1923 to 1927 he was trained in a commercial laboratory. From 1928 to 1931 he worked in this laboratory as an employee.

Since 1925, Kraft belonged to the Sturmabteilung (SA). At the same time he began to work as a leader in the Hitler Youth (HJ). In March 1926 he joined the NSDAP . In 1928 he became leader of the Hitler Youth in the Gau Magdeburg-Anhalt . From 1931 to 1933, Kräft worked for the NSDAP on the one hand, but also received unemployment benefit at the same time. In 1933, Kräft became leader of the HJ Oberbannes Magdeburg-Anhalt as well as the Bannes Magdeburg in the HJ area Mittelland. In the same year he took over his first public office as city councilor in Magdeburg; later he became a councilor. In June 1933, Baldur von Schirach appointed him country representative of the youth leader of the German Reich for Anhalt . From 1933 to 1936 he was head of the regional association Middle Elbe-Harz in the Reich Association for German Youth Hostels ( DJH ). From May 1934 to June 1936 he also managed the newly created HJ area Middle Elbe in Magdeburg, but was then relieved of illness and overwork.

From March 1936 to April 1938, Kräft was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 10 (Magdeburg) .

During the war, Kräft was active in the Lower Silesian Gauleitung in Wroclaw . a. 1943 as regional training officer and regional training speaker of the Racial Politics Office of the NSDAP , specializing in people care and racial policy. In addition, he was head of the district headquarters in the NSDAP's main training office.
