Kurt Bernhard Orlowski (born April 21, 1905 in Essen , † January 18, 1987 in Velbert ) was a German football player .

Orlowski grew up in the Essen district of Stoppenberg as the son of an Essen miner . In 1921 he joined the BV Stoppenberg club, which had only been founded a few years earlier , where he became a permanent fixture in the team over the next three years. In 1924 he switched to ETB Schwarz-Weiß Essen in the Ruhrgauliga. Orlowski was able to establish himself there as well and helped the team to a strong 1st place as a middle runner in the 1927/28 season . The subsequent finals for the Gaume Championship against FC Schalke 04 were lost 1: 2 and 2: 4. Together with goal scorer Ernst PörtgenOrlowski led the team to two more first places in their season without being able to win the district championship. In 1932 he finally left Essen and joined SpVgg Sülz 07 . In Cologne, however, he was declared a professional player in 1933 and excluded from gaming. Then Orlowski went back to Essen and played - after his suspension expired - for some lower-class clubs without being able to build on his previous successes.

Following his active career, he worked for many years as a trainer for lower-class Essen clubs and ran a sporting goods store with his wife in downtown Essen. Orlowski died on January 18, 1987 after a brief illness.

Although Orlowski was called up several times for the German national team, he did not play an international match. His last appointment was for the international match against Finland on July 1, 1932, which won the German team 4-1.
