Kurt Seebach

Kurt Seebach (born June 15, 1928 ) is a former SED functionary. He was u. a. Chairman of the District Party Control Commission (BPKK) Erfurt of the SED.

Life

From 1949 to 1956 Seebach was a member of the German People's Police or the Barracked People's Police . He later worked as a full-time SED functionary. Seebach was first the department head for security, then department head for party organs in the SED city district leadership Erfurt-Mitte. He was a member from 1962 and from March 1968 to 1989 chairman of the BPKK Erfurt of the SED and since February 1974 a member of the secretariat of the SED district leadership in Erfurt. Since the Eighth Party Congress in June 1971 he was also a candidate for the Central Party Control Commission (ZPKK) of the SED.
