Kurt Zimmer (judge)
Kurt Zimmer (born September 15, 1885 in Hamburg ; † August 9, 1941 ) was a German judge .
Life
As the son of a lieutenant colonel, he embarked on a legal career. In 1908 he passed the first state examination with “good”, the second in 1912 with “distinction”. In the same year he became an assessor and six months later a district judge at the district court of Verden (Aller) . In 1920 he became district judge at the district court in Verden . In 1925 he became the district court director there. In 1926 he became a member of the chamber judge in Berlin . He was appointed Ministerialrat in the Prussian Ministry of Justice in 1929. He moved to the Reichsgericht on September 1, 1933 and was a member of it until his death in 1941.
