Kusti Kulo , actually Gustaf Ludvik Kulo (* 1887 ; † 1973 ) was a Finnish politician .

Kulo was the director of the Tampere train station before the civil war . In the civil war of 1918 he fought as a socialist on the side of the Red Guards. Towards the end of the war he was captured. In the 1920s he was arrested again for his political stance. He was involved in the Left Group of Finnish Workers in the 1920s and 1930s . In 1948 he became chairman of the left-wing electoral organization, the Democratic Union of the Finnish People, founded in 1944 . He held the post until 1966.
