Kutluğ Ataman

Kutluğ Ataman (* 1961 ) is a Turkish filmmaker and artist.

The ataman, who lives in London , studied film at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) and at the Sorbonne in Paris . His films and installations have been exhibited at the Istanbul Biennials (1997), Venice (1999), Berlin (2000) and Documenta 11 in Kassel in 2002 . His film Lola and Bilidikid , a German production, won an award at the 1999 Berlinale . In 2004 he was nominated for the Turner Prize .
