The Kuzgun Dam ( Turkish Kuzgun Barajı ) is a 35 km north-northwest of the provincial capital of Erzurum in the same province in eastern Turkey located Dam .
The Kuzgun Dam dams the Serçeme Çayı , a right tributary of the Karasu . The dam was built between 1985 and 1998 to irrigate an area of 11,711 hectares and to generate energy . The barrier structure is a 114 m high stone embankment dam with a clay core . The dam volume is 3.6 million m³. The reservoir covers an area of 11.24 km² with normal damming. The storage space is 312 million m³. There is a hydroelectric power station at the foot of the dam. It has an installed capacity of 22.7 MW . The standard work capacity is 36 GWh per year.
