Kwon Ho-ung
Kwon Ho-ung ( Hangeul : 권호웅 , * 1959 ; † 2010 in North Korea ) was a North Korean government official.
He is said to have studied at Kim Il-sung University . In 2004 or 2005 he succeeded Kim Ryong-song as negotiator of the North Korean delegation in the talks between North and South Korea , which led to a temporary relaxation during the sunshine policy of the then South Korean President Kim Dae-jung .
On July 20, 2010, the South Korean newspaper Dong-a Ilbo reported , citing an anonymous Chinese source, that Kwon had been executed in North Korea .
