Kyle Mills

Kyle Mills (* 1966 in Oregon ) is an American thriller - Author .

Life

Mills grew up in Oregon, but has also lived in Virginia , Maryland , Wyoming and London . His father was an FBI agent. So he came into contact early on with the things that hold a certain fascination for boys. The hunt for criminals and the FBI's operations. After completing the collage, he actually wanted to learn a trade in a company and dreamed of having his own car and a big house. But he couldn't really get excited about any of these jobs and instead drove around in a jeep and lived in a little house in Baltimore. In college, he read an article about climbing and decided to give it a try. So he went to West Virginia in the 1990s and had a weekend of training. He stayed true to this hobby. While climbing he met his future wife Kim. They decided to move to Wyoming together. The people he met there inspired and fascinated him.

Mills was employed by a small bank branch in Jackson Hole , brokered loans during the week and spent the weekends climbing. He found that he had never done anything artistic. Hence the idea that he wanted to change something in his life. At first he thought of designing and manufacturing his own furniture. However, he lacked the necessary skills that his wife gave him the idea to write a novel. Eight months later he had finished his first book, Phoenix Rising . He can now earn a living from writing.
