L'eredità

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

L'eredità (German: the inheritance ) is a quiz on Rai Uno , moderated by Flavio Insinna since 2018, in the evening program. Before Flavio Insinna, Amadeus (2002-2006), Carlo Conti (2006 to 2015 and 2017/18) and Fabrizio Frizzi (from 2014 to he died in 2018) presented the quiz. The program is the oldest existing Italian television quiz. Seven candidates take part. In each round a competitor is eliminated and "inherits" (l'eredita = the inheritance) his earned credit to the player against whom he lost in the play-off.

The moderator is supported by four dancers ( Vallette ) called "Professoresse" , who also contribute questions and explanations to the answers. Sara Facciolini, Roberta Morise (Conti's current companion), Elena Ossola and Angela Tuccia were on duty until June 2009. Since September 2009 the professoress has been replaced by the four significantly younger Cristina Buccino, Serena Gualinetti, Benedetta Mazza and Enrica Pintore. Currently (2018) it is Eleonora Arosio, Vera Santagata, Laura Dazzi and Chiara Esposito.

1 round

The first round is called “Vero o Falso” (= true or false). The presenter makes assertions and the candidates in turn have to assess whether they think they are true. After the second mistake by the same candidate it comes to elimination. The failed candidate points to a competitor "with his finger" ( punta il dito contro un avversario ). The challenged in this way chooses one of three questions (A, B or C) without knowing the order of difficulty. If he can answer it, the originally unsuccessful candidate is eliminated and hands over his credit to the correct rater (hence the name of the program). In the event of an incorrect answer, the procedure is reversed.

2nd round

In the next game of dominoes , a match had to be selected from a list of 5 words for a given word. For this one again and so on, whereby the list was always supplemented. In the course of the 2008/09 season the game was changed to I Fantastici Quattro = "The Great Four", four well-known personalities (e.g. Leonardo da Vinci , Thomas A. Edison , Archimedes and Benjamin Franklin ) have different characteristics, quotes or life stations are assigned. From 2010/11 onwards, four years are always given as an option and the candidates have to guess in which year the question was asked. In the case of a double fault, as with Domino, there is an elimination.

3rd round

In the next game "La Scossa" (German: Electric shock), nine answers are presented to a question, one of which is correct. The candidates must now choose the wrong answers in turn. The correct answer immediately leads to elimination (see above). Scossa is the only game that has remained unchanged since the series began.

4th round

The game "Hit Parade" is the new game of the 2011/12 season in which three competitors take part. You need to sort a series of 7 items in the correct order. The first and the last element are already in the graphic. Then another element appears and the competitor has to decide where to put it. If the competitor has placed it correctly, a new element appears and is allowed to continue playing. It is the competitor's turn until he / she places an element correctly. If the competitor places one element incorrectly, it is the turn of the next. The game ends when a competitor correctly places the last of the 7 elements. The two competitors who did not win the game play against each other in the elimination.

5th round

In the final (duel), the two candidates alternately choose a question from 8 boxes (from summer 2009 assigned to different areas of knowledge such as "Italian language" or "Religion") with initially invisible 10,000, three times 20,000, twice 30,000, 40,000, and 50,000 euros. If the guess is correct, the player receives the amount, otherwise the previous profit goes to the opponent. If one candidate has answered the penultimate question correctly and the other has such a low credit that he can no longer overtake, the last question is consequently omitted.

6th round

Variant until autumn 2005

The victorious candidate now plays the final round alone. There are now five questions to be solved, each with five answer options. There is a so-called “second chance” for the first three questions, which means that if the first answer turns out to be incorrect, the finalist can choose a different one in the hope that it is correct. The last two questions have to be answered definitively, so there is no second chance here. In contrast to other quiz shows, the resolution does not always take place immediately after logging in - the candidate only learns about the first three questions if the answer is correct. If the candidate has answered a question incorrectly and then tries to correct the mistake with his second chance, the answer is only given after all five questions have been asked. The last two questions are also only answered after the actual quiz round. If the candidate has answered all five questions correctly, he wins the main prize. With four correct answers, he receives a significantly lower amount of money and can compete again in the next program. If the candidate does not manage to answer four questions correctly, he will receive nothing.

Variant from autumn 2005

The remaining player goes to the guillotine. One must be selected from every two words. The wrong word halves the previous profit. Another term emerges from the five correct words. If this is also guessed, the candidate receives the sum won. If he has chosen the right one from all five pairs and has thus received the full amount, he may not come back. Otherwise he will get another chance as a champion in the next show.

Audience game

Since September 2009 there is a new game in which the audience can take part by phone or SMS, it is called "Chi l'ha detto?" (Who said it) and occasionally involves other forms of communication (singing, writing, composing, ...). A participant with the correct answer wins a € 1000 shopping voucher.
