Léon Norbert Amédée Thiébaut (born June 14, 1878 in Nice , † March 8, 1943 in Paris ) was a French fencer .
successes
Léon Thiébaut took in 1900 in London at the Olympics part in all three competitions for amateurs. In the foil he was eliminated in the quarterfinals, while he reached the final round with the sword. He finished this with two victories from six battles in eighth place. In the saber competition, he also qualified for the final round, in which he achieved five wins. Only Georges de la Falaise won more battles, so that Thiébaut took second place.
