Léone Bertimon

Léone Bertimon (born August 16, 1950 in Pointe-Noire , Guadeloupe ) is a former French shot putter .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships she was eighth in Milan in 1978 , fifth in Sindelfingen in 1980 , eighth in Grenoble in 1981 and sixth in Milan in 1982 .

In 1979 she won the Mediterranean Games and in 1989 the Francophonie Games .

She was French outdoor champion twelve times (1973–1980, 1982–1984, 1989) and nine times indoors (1973, 1974, 1976, 1978, 1980–1982, 1987, 1988).
