Léopards Douala ( French Léopard de Douala ) is a Cameroonian football club from the city of Douala .
history
The club achieved its first success when it reached the final of the Cameroonian Football Cup in 1942. Also in 1956 and 1957 they failed until the final. In 1972 the championship was won for the first time and this success was repeated in 1973. At the following African Cup of Champions Clubs in 1973 , the club made it to the semifinals and only failed because of Vita Kinshasa . In 1993 the club reached the cup final again, but could not win this again against Canon Yaoundé . In 1998 the club played in the MTN Elite 1 for the last time .
