The Lübkowsee is located near the town of Schwichtenberg on the eastern edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District . At its deepest point, it is almost seven meters deep. On the shore there is a swimming area as well as a restaurant and a holiday home area.
The lake is surrounded by the moat on the southwestern bank , but has no above-ground inflows and outflows.
