The Lüdische (Lüüdin keel ') is of about 3,000 members of the ethnic group of the Lüdier ( Lüüdikažet ) in the Republic of Karelia in northwest Russia (in the area between Lake Ladoga and Lake Onega spoken).

Together with Olonetsic, Ludic is one of the main Karelian dialects and is closer to Wepsic than Finnish .

This becomes clear in the less pronounced vowel harmony and the only rudimentary sound changes . In addition, Lüdische has far more diphthongs and triphthongs than other Baltic Finnish languages.
