The Lünner See is an artificially created lake in autumn 2005 in the municipality of Lünne in the district of Emsland . It is located southwest of the village of Lünne in a rural setting.

The lake, which is fed by groundwater , was created with a curved bank. There are three small islands in the lake. A new building area has been developed around the lake . "Maritime living" is planned here. In addition to residential buildings, a senior citizens' residence and a cyclist hotel with a restaurant are also to be built. There are bathing spots with sandy beaches at three points on the west, north and east banks of the lake.

The Blue Lake is located directly north of the Lünner See .
