Kemal Okyay (born February 25, 1985 in Kayseri ) is a Turkish football player who plays for TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor .

Career

society

Okyay started club football in the youth department of Kayseri İl Özel İdaresi and later played for the Kayserispor youth team . With the latter he was in December 2003, equipped with a professional contract, included in the professional squad. The first season he sat almost exclusively on the bench and was only used in two cup matches. In the summer of 2004, the partner club Kayseri Erciyesspor made it to the Süper Lig and then exchanged competition rights with Kayserispor. As a result, Okyay suddenly played with his team in the top Turkish league without having made promotion. Okyay has become an integral part of the team over the years. In his most successful season, he won the Turkish Football Cup with his team for the first time in the club's history and was also fifth in the table in the Süper Lig with his team. At the end of the season, the then successful coach Tolunay Kafkas sorted him out and put him on the sales list.

So Okyay was forced to move to the partner club Kayseri Erciyesspor . Here he played for a season and then went to the first division club Manisaspor . After just one season he returned to Erciyesspor. In the summer of 2010, Okyays change to league competitor Adanaspor was announced. This change did not take place after all and Okyay stayed with Erciyesspor.

For the second half of the 2012/13 season he moved to third division club Nazilli Belediyespor . In the spring of 2014 he moved to the second division TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor .

National team

Okyay played a total of five times for the Turkish U-20 national team.

In addition, he was nominated for the second selection of the Turkish national team in 2005, but was not used.
