Lương Văn Thao (born September 9, 1995 ) is a track and field athlete who specializes in sprint distances.

Athletic career

Lương Văn Thao gained his first international experience in 2015 when he finished fourth in the 400-meter run at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore in 47.16 s and with the Vietnamese 4-by-400-meter relay in 3:08 , 48 min won the bronze medal behind the teams from Thailand and the Philippines. Two years later he was eliminated from the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in the 200-meter run with 21.51 s in the first round and reached sixth place over 400 meters in 47.60 s, while he was with the relay with a new national record of 3 : 7.40 min won the silver medal behind Thailand. In 2019 he finished fourth over 200 meters in 21.14 s at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas and won the relay in 3: 08.07 min.

In 2015 Lương became Vietnamese champion in the 400-meter run and in 2017 over 200 meters.
